- Write their message exactly as they say it, or describe their gesture.
- Give it to the person together on a planned visit, or let a grown-up arrange delivery.
A little learning to notice
Talk about making something for another person and how you feel about sharing it.
Keep a little memory
Keep a copy or write down what your child wanted the recipient to know.
Make it work for your child
The gift can be one scribble. Your toddler can keep it if giving it away feels hard today.
