Gather a few things
One large, age-rated toy and an empty open basket.
Let’s play
- Sit together and let your toddler examine the toy.
- Place it behind the basket while your child watches.
- Ask where it went. Pause, then reveal it together.
- Let your toddler be the hider if they want.
Make it work for your child
Keep part of the toy visible to make finding it easier. For a bigger challenge, use two baskets.
